This inability to truly training A Program in Miracles' kind maxims of forgiveness that they study, and sometimes actually show, has probably been the absolute most critical declining among their students. The non-dualistic indicating of kindness cannot be recognized here within the ability of dualism provided that specialness is continually selected as the ego hails from an unkind thought against Lord and Heaven. Our unwillingness to identify this about the ego, and what all that thought program is able of doing, is something that stops our progress with the Course. We should be ready to consider the vanity with the Holy Heart - the true Teacher - and take that night to Him for forgiveness. Nothing can be hidden and that's right from the Course.

In his publications on kindness, Mr. Wapnick also discusses the origin of a person's unkind behavior is the same anxiety (and repressed guilt) that is in our personal mind and that is what unites us. We also have the same right-mind and the exact same power to choose between them. Picking to be sort does not produce people various or better; relatively it means we are willing to rehearse the "kind principles" of the Course therefore that people can understand to comprehend every thing it's teaching. It's simply a question of priority.

He goes on to say that in understanding how to be sort towards others, we're training being kind toward ourselves since, "you and your brother are one. They are part of you. You're not different." That goes straight to one's heart of the ego's believed system when the concept of big difference is the way the a course in miracles free started - God and His Son were split and various - and undoes it. Even the smallest touch of specialness is the ego. What he is saying becomes obvious if you really examine and training the kind forgiveness of the Course!

A critical scholar of the Class needs to understand what this means. These pupils would prefer to be a pleased learner with the only real true teacher - the Holy Soul - rather than a spiritually unique instructor of the ego in virtually any form. They are pleased to understand from Him how to be free from the burdens related to denying the Truth:Forgiveness' kindness is obscure in the beginning, since salvation is not understood, nor truly wanted for (S-2.I.1). And here you will lay out the burden of denying truth. This is actually the burden that is horrible, and maybe not the reality (T-21-VI.7).

Home versus "self" -or- Identification versus "identity" In the Program, there is a difference between the "Self" which is our correct Personality as Christ and the "self" identity with the ego. This is a important place to comprehend as the initial welcomes the function God gave us through being God-created; but the latter is self-created and totally influenced by the ego and its purpose of vengeance and sustaining separation. Everybody already thinks they are the ego. We wouldn't be here otherwise.
